Our school groups children into peer groups with a buddy system so that younger children have an older child as a buddy should they need any help with general playground activities. "Buddies" assist with reading and computer activities and in the playground. Peer groups get together for a fun activity lesson each Tuesday afternoon. These lessons include cooking, sport, craft, and computer work.
Each year new peer groups are formed. Each peer group decides upon a name and motto for their team. They are able to earn rewards for their team through following the school rules and values.
