Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. School Event also provide families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s educational milestones and achievements.

Book Week

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

Maimuru Public School hosts a book character parade where students are invited to dress-up as their favourite book character. We also hold a book fair annually where families are invited to come along and purchase some fabulous take-home reading resources!

Enrichment Day

Enrichment Day is a special event designed to enhance students' learning experiences through engaging activities beyond the standard curriculum. It provides an opportunity for students, teachers, parents and other school community members to collaborate and create a supportive educational environment.

We host an Enrichment Day on the last day of each term to coincide with our whole school assembly.

Activities could include: music, art/craft, cooking, science, dance or sporting endeavours.
